Very late to the party on this one, but it’s time for another event report, this time covering the games at MCM London Comicon on the weekend of 27th-29th October. Comicon isn’t exactly well-known for it’s games, but there’s always been a decent showing to keep gamers happy among the comics, movies, and anime. I actually remember playing Guilty Gear with one of my friends at last October’s event. However, enough about that, what did I play and how was it?
Another tournament, one that is likely my last one of the year. Yesterday I fought in Revolution that took place in London, an anime fighter tournament with some of the best players in Europe in attendance. I entered the Under Night In-Bight EXE: Late(st) and BlazBlue: Centralfiction tournaments, as well as playing casuals in various other games.
Eurogamer Expo 2017 has been and gone for me (I only went on the Thursday and Friday this year). A lot of games, a lot of gamers and a lot of queues, but a huge success for me this year with a lot to see and love. Although there was a tremendous amount of empty space on the showfloor, this really did help on the busier Friday with getting around. But, more importantly, how were the games? A quick note, I’ll only be covering non-Nintendo games in this article, if you wanted to see my thoughts on Nintendo’s showing, it’s on Nintendo Scene.
