It’s that time again, we’re on New Year’s Eve and so it’s the perfect time to look back over the year and it has been an incredible year for gaming. I’ve not even played some of the bigger titles this year, owing to becoming editor for Rice Digital, and this was still a really hard list to nail down. News | Resident Evil 2 Official Merch Revealed From Numskull Designs

In an announcement today that has me salivating more than that first zombie in the Spencer Mansion, Capcom and the amazingly inventive merch company Numskull Designs revealed the official Resident Evil 2™ merchandise range, that they are releasing to coincide with the upcoming launch of Resident Evil 2 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC next year. Preview | Hands-On With The Siege And The Sandfox (EGX Rezzed)

Stumbling around EGX Rezzed, I chanced upon a large variety of games of a myriad of genres, but I found myself drawn to a particular aesthetic and found a game I hadn’t expected. Created by a small team of 5 known as Cardboard Sword with development beginning in 2015, The Siege and The Sandfox is, for the lack of a better term, a 2D stealth adventure. I’d like to point out before I start that the demo I played is unfinished, so some of the things I say about it might change before release, but how is the game in its current state and are there any things I found out about The Siege and the Sandfox that may change it in the future?
